Smilja (Eremic) Radisic

Smilja Radisic, 82, passed away August 5, 2017.  She was born January 9, 1935 in Yugoslavia to the late Zoran and Kata Eremic. Smilja worked for many years with Melch’s Foods and Belgrade Gardens.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Smilja was preceded in death by her husband, Zivko Radisic.  She is survived by her daughter, Dobrila (Milenko) Zokic; sons, Ivan and Djurica “George” (Gina) Radisic; grandchildren, Bosko Zokic, Smilja (Chris) Andears, Biljana (Harrison) Dennis, Alarra and Mira Radisic; great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Andears; as well as many friends.   

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 P.M. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 (SR 619), where a Parastas Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., and from 12 to 1 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
