Sharon S. (Spurr) Cramer

Sharon Cramer, 78, passed away December 24, 2016.  She was born January 26, 1938 in Akron to the late James and Nell Spurr.  Sharon worked for many years as the Head Cashier for Kroger Company and continued to work for the Coventry Pharmacy and ACME Pharmacy.  After retirement she worked part time as a lunch and recess aide at Erwine Middle School, which gave her the opportunity to care for children, which was one of her greatest joys.  She also volunteered as a Room Mother in Coventry Schools and with the Good Neighbors Foundation.  Sharon loved to bowl and dance the jitterbug, the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Indians, and country music.

Sharon was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Howard Cramer; daughter, Sherry Cramer; brothers, Ralph, Weldon, and Clair Spurr; sisters, Clarice (Harold) Presley and Patricia Hoover; sister-in-law, Alice Lawson; nephew, Rick Presley and niece, Jill Hoover.  She is survived by daughters, Terri (Mike) Sweitzer, Patsy Lockhart and Vickey (John) Todd; stepson, Bruce (Robin) Cramer; grandchildren, Chad, Sheena, Lucas, Travis, Brittany, Anthony, Bruce Brian and Troy David; great grandchildren, Gianna, Sevana, Justice; cherished nieces and nephews, Judy, Tammy, Jeff, Becky, Steve, Mike, Debbie, and Sherry.  Beloved friends, Ed (Gladys) Crouch and Donna Cooper and her adored fur-baby, Kinzy. 

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Drs. Tiffany Marchand, Matthew Taylor, Charles Fuenning, and Summa Akron City T2 ICU and the 6th floor nurses.

Memorial service will be held at 7 P.M. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Rev.
