Sandra D. (Culver) Evans

Sandy Evans, 77, of Green passed away October 23, 2017.  She was born May 10, 1940 in Tioga, West Virginia to the late James and Madeline Culver.  Sandy was a long-time bus driver for Manchester Schools and member of the Mogadore Moose Ladies Auxiliary .  She enjoyed playing board games and cards with her family and traveling to South Carolina with her husband to visit her brother and sister-in-law, whom she shares a wedding anniversary with.    

Besides her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Tew.  She is survived by her husband, of 44 years, William Evans; daughter, Pamela Miller; sons, David and Richard (Lisa) Tew; grandchildren, KatiLynn Miller, Amanda (Dave) Tew-Stevenor, Matthew (Heather) Tew and Rachelle (Christopher) Rushton; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Donna) and Kevin (Kathy) Culver; as well as many other loving family and friends.   

A gathering of family and friends will be held from NOON until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319.  Graveside service will take place at 2:30 P.M. at East Liberty Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
