Ruth (Morgan) Berry

Ruth Berry, 93, passed away December 5, 2017 in South Pasadena, Florida where she has resided for 13 years.  She was born September 6, 1924 in Cuyahoga Falls to the late Arthur and Marion Morgan. Ruth was a 1943 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School.  She was employed by Polsky’s Department Store, was a former member of Eastern Star Billow Chapter 483, and The Telephone Pioneers of America (Emblem member).  Ruth retired from Ohio Bell with more than 30 years of service as a repair troubleshooter.  

Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; sister, Barbara; and brothers, Raymond and Sonny.  She is survived by daughter, Karen (John) Houck; grandchildren, Ryan and Kurt; and great-grandchildren, Layne, Dalton and Lindsay, all of Florida. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12 to 3 P.M. on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319. A private family interment will be at Mt.
