Rock A. Huggins

Rock Huggins, 56, of Portage Lakes passed away July 9, 2017.  He was born July 18, 1960 in Circleville, Ohio to Richard (Abby) Huggins and the late Mae Huggins.  Rock enjoyed grilling exotic delicacies at home with his wife, fishing and hunting with his friends, watching Ohio State Football; but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandkids.  Rock was a member of the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club, Portages Lakes Eagles and Barberton Hungarian Club.   

Rock is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Nancy; children, Richard (Brittany), Catie (Ian) Dunn, Cayla and Maggie; grandchildren, Brantley, Presley, Trenton, Finnley, Hazel Mae, Holden, Colton; sister, Ramae Gibbs; and nieces, Kelli and Jordan.  

Per Rock's wishes cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 6 P.M. on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rock’s name to the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club, Scholarship Fund, 4551 Dusty’s Rd, Akron, Ohio 44319.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
