Robert R MacDonald

Bob, 85, went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2016.  He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on September 29, 1931 to the late Robert and Helen MacDonald.  He was the creator and owner of numerous Captain Nemo’s Sub Shops.      

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicky and step-son, Roger Kevin.   Bob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Susan; sister, Janice; son, Robert R. and daughter, Nancy.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at 12 P.M. on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Pastor Darryl Moulder officiating.  Family and friends may visit from 11:30 A.M. until time of the service.  Interment will follow at East Liberty Cemetery.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
