Philip Hadinger

Philip Hadinger, 84 of Green passed away August 24, 2017.  He was born April 11, 1933 in Gyorkony, Hungary to the late George and Katharina Hadinger.  Philip had a strong faith in God. He was a loving husband and father. He was especially proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Besides his parents, Philip was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.  He is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years, Elizabeth; sons, Michael (Ilona) and Mark (Kathy) Hadinger; daughters, Ruth (David) Juergemeier and Christine (William) Merchant; grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) Hadinger II, Matthew Juergemeier, Joseph Hadinger, Jonathon A. Hadinger, Stephanie Merchant, Natalie (Andrew) Richard, Jonathan D. Hadinger, Nathan Merchant, Morgan Hadinger, Julia Merchant, Brandon Hadinger, Samuel Merchant, Katalin Hadinger; and many other loving family and friends.   

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Rev. Michael Hadinger officiating.  Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M. and for 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be at East Liberty Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made in Philip’s name to the Haven of Rest Ministries, PO Box 547, Akron, Ohio 44309-0547.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
