Patricia Ann (McCahan) Martin

Patsy Martin, 59, of Green passed away June 7, 2017.  She was born April 25, 1958 in Akron to Thomas and Carolyn McCahan.  Patsy was a 1976 graduate of Coventry High School and graduated from the RN program at Walsh College.  Patsy had a green thumb and it showed in her yard.  She really enjoyed tending to all of her plants, flowers and spending time with her family.       

Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Timothy and brother, John.  Besides her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Tim Martin; daughters, Amanda Chapman and Jessica Martin; grandchildren, Matthew, Addelyn and Lily; brother, Mike McCahan; as well as many other loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Thomas Millard officiating.  Family and friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made in Patsy’s name to the Oncology Department, c/o Akron General Medical Center, 1 Akron General Ave., Akron, Ohio 44307.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
