Nedra A. (Trusky) Head

Nedra Head, 87, passed away April 5, 2018.  She was born October 14, 1930 in Century, West Virginia to the late Anthony and Albina (Garlow) Trusky.  Nedra was a stay at home wife and mom her entire life. She enjoyed cooking, especially baking with the grandchildren; cleaning and decorating her home.  Her passion was wallpapering.  Nedra and her late husband enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques; but most of all they enjoyed working in the yard together and keeping the landscape manicured.

Nedra was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; son, Edward; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.  She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Mueller; grandchildren, Autumn (Tim) Firitch, Shawn (Mylee) Head and Michelle (Jason) Snapp; great-grandchildren, Kira and Colten Head, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jillian, John and Thomas Firitch and Lily Snapp; sisters, Sue, Helen and Judy; and many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio 44273 with Pastor Jim Gindlesberger officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nedra’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, 70 West Streetsboro Street, Ste. 201, Hudson, Ohio 44236.
