Mary Jane (Snyder) Hall

Mary Jane Hall, 96, went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2017.  She was born July 14, 1921 in Cleveland to the late Richard and Marie Snyder.  Mary Jane loved the Lord, her husband and her children; but her passion was shopping and animals.  She enjoyed her trips to the mall and the outlets with her daughter.  Mary Jane will be greatly missed by all who knew her.     

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hall and daughter, Deborah Reese.  She is survived by son, Derryl (Susan) Hall; grandchildren, Derryl, Jr. (Pamela) and Douglas Hall; step-grandson, Michael (Laine) Schweninger; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Emma and Erin; 4 great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Richard Reese; as well as many other loving family and friends.     

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Greenview Inn and Advanced 360 of Pebble Creek for the love and care they gave to Mary Jane.

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Pastor Steve Bucy officiating.  Family and friends may call on Thursday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Mary Jane’s name to American Lung Association of Midland States, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd, Ste. 260, Independence, Ohio 44131.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
