Martha E (Mantooth) Prahl

Marty Prahl, 76, passed away December 25, 2016.  She was born December 6, 1940 in Knoxville, TN to the late Benjamin and Helen Mantooth.  Marty was a member of Grace and Glory Fellowship in Cuyahoga Falls where she was a Deaconess, worked on the prayer chain and was the head of the nursery.  Marty was the heart of the family, she was as dedicated to her family as she was to God.  The one thing that would describe Marty is to exemplify the fruit of the spirit.  She was loved and will be missed by all that knew her.       

Marty was preceded in death by sisters Shirley Trimae and Marsha Pierson.  She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, David; sons Charles, David (Lois) and Phillip Prahl; daughter Debora (William) Smith; grandchildren, Michael Smith, Jennifer Waddell, Erica (Kevin) Scheutzow, Aaron Prahl, Kyle (Jessica) Prahl, Tera Washabaugh, Candice Eaton, Charles L. Prahl, Timothy Prahl and Nicholas Prahl; 12 great grandchildren; brothers Phillip and Barry Mantooth; sisters Mary (Enrique) Zuniga and Benay Anderson.

 Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd.
