Jonathan P. Curtis

Jon Curtis, 61, passed away suddenly February 10, 2018.  He was born August 24, 1956 in Akron to the late George Joseph Curtis and Marie Heupel Curtis Dittebrand.  Jon was a 1974 graduate of Coventry High School, a professional truck driver with Comunale in Barberton, and a talented musician.  Jon loved playing bass with several area bands.  

Jon is survived by his loving wife, Shawn; son, Jamie; brothers, Jeff (Carol) and Jim Curtis; sister, Janice Wood; sisters-in-law, Cindy Caetta and Sherry Peterson; brother-in-law, Gary Caetta; nieces, Stephanie, Cicely, Destiny, Casey, Teri Jo, Shannon and Christine; nephews, John, Joseph, Jason and Michael; as well as many other loving family and friends.  

Memorial service will be held at NOON on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd.
