Janet P. (Gray) Baird

Janet Baird, 77, of Portage Lakes passed away September 19, 2017.  She was born April 21, 1940 in Akron to the late Bernard and Mary Gray.  Janet took fashion cues from no one.  Her sense of glam and glitz was her own.  Family was everything to her, her beloved husband, children and grandchildren were her world.  She loved the simple things in life, gardening, cooking, canning, playing bingo, and going to Las Vegas.  She also loved to celebrate and decorate for the holidays, especially Halloween.  She will be missed by all who truly knew how special of a lady she was.   

Janet is survived by her loving husband of, 51 years, Doyle, Sr.; daughter, Andrea (Jeff) Stem; sons, Doyle, Jr. (Jenna); Derek (Jessica) and Daryl (Amy); grandchildren, Chloe, Isabella, Kassie, Danica, Lauren, Gavin and Nathan; stepson, Billy (Patty); sister, Sandra Gray; brothers, Bernard, Jr. and Delbert Gray; nephew, Jon Gray and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd.
