Dorothy J. (Glover) West

Dorothy West, 96, went home to be with the Lord April 15, 2018. She was born January 17, 1922 in Belmont County to the late Edgar and Grace Glover but had been an Akron resident since 1942.  Dorothy was a Realtor in the Akron area until retirement in 1982, and a former member of Cathedral of Tomorrow, serving in the choir.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Willis “Bill”; sons, Larry and Donald; and 3 siblings.  She is survived by 4 grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Omalea Frlich; as well as many great and great-great-grandchildren. 

The family would like to give a special thanks to Cheryl for the love and care she gave to Dorothy.

A private interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy’s name to Haven of Rest Ministries, P.O.
