We extend our sincere sympathy for your loss. Reading her letters, phone calls and learning more about her experiences gave us a deeper love and appreciation of Doris and her family. She was an interesting and wonderful person to know and we will miss her. God bless and keep you.

Doris was a longtime member of our group for Seniors, The Firestone Park Prime Timers. She was very well-liked by all and we will miss her tremendously - especially the fudge pieces she brought to share with everyone on our bus trips!

My condolences to Neil and his family on the passing of their mother. To Neil and his wife, was very thankful for the chance meeting I had with them when they were visiting his mother and I was delivering her mail. I appreciate your friendship from many years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless you.

I am so sorry to hear about Doris. I had just received a card from Larry that she had received a card I had sent. Whenever I made a trip to Ohio I would get in touch with her. She sent me (annually) a breakdown of her yearly adventures. She really enjoyed traveling and keeping busy. So glad she was able to keep active for so many years.

Doris was a special person to me. I have so many memories of her. After my mother died, she wrote to me as she had done for many years with my mother. Her letters were little books of her life and her children. I always enjoyed what they had done especially the "walking tour/vacations." My most special memories were the time she came to my house in Alabama and we took her to Gulf Shores. She LOVED the beach. The morning we left she said, "Can we walk one more time on the beach?" Of course we did. I loved her.
