Betty Schermesser Obituary

Betty Schermesser, 74, passed away February 2, 2018 in Sun City Center, Florida after the sudden discovery and three-week battle with cancer. She was born on February 24, 1943 in Alliance to the late Joseph and Helen Palmenter. Betty retired in 1999 from Alliance City Schools with 30 years of service. After retirement she and her husband Jim moved to Florida.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Jim who passed just two months prior. She is survived by her nephew, Dana (Karen) Geiger, of Melbourne Florida; nieces, Lynn Owens and Billi-Jo Maruna; sisters-in-law, Carol and Jeanie Schermesser; brothers-in-law, John and Richard Schermesser; as well as many other family and friends.
