Bernie Gray, 73, formerly of Akron, passed away February 7, 2018 at his home in Las Vegas. He was born September 19, 1944 in Akron to the late Bernard, Sr. and Mary Gray.

Besides his parents, Bernie was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Baird and brother, Bud Delbert Gray. He is survived by his sister, Sandra Gray; brother-in-law, Doyle Baird, Sr; nephews, Jon Gray; Doyle Jr. (Jenna), Derek (Jessica), Daryl (Amy) Baird; niece Andrea (Jeff) Stem, and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
